St Cleer school had their Book Week and celebrated author Tony Mitton paid a visit. He kept the children spell bound with his poems and stories and his Rap books were a particular success.
On the Friday all the children dressed as a favourite character from a book - there were even a jockey, witches, a playing card, Little Red Riding Hood and a wolf amongst the staff! A very exciting day was had by all.
The school had to say a sad farewell to Mrs Cynthia White with a big 'thankyou' for all her hard work over the years as stand-in caretaker and lunch-time supervisor. Everyone will miss her and wishes her lots of happiness for the future.
