AUDIENCES in Looe booed, cheered and enjoyed a laughter filled evening as the town’s Community Players staged Sleeping Beauty.
It was the fourth pantomime to be produced and performed by the all-female group - and their best ever, according to the crowd, said spokesperson Dot Dunning .
‘The audience booed and cheered in the traditional manner of panto enthusiasts,’ she said.
‘Of course the real scene stealers were the delightful fairies and witches from Sheila’s School of Dancing.
‘With superb costumes including a smoke breathing dragon, this group goes from strength to strength under the directorship of Marilyn King.’
Plans are already being made for next year’s production - and the Looe Community Players are always keen to hear from prospective new members, says Dot.
