A parade and church service of dedication was held recently for the new standard of the Torpoint and Rame branch of the Royal Naval Association. Originally formed as the Rame Peninsula branch in 1987, many more members now live in Torpoint and it was renamed. The parade was led by the band of HM Royal Marines followed by a contingent of Navy personnel from McKenzie Division, HMS Raleigh. The service of dedication, at St James Church, was led by Father Brian Anderson.
