An arts project funded by Liskeard Town Council and run by ‘Project Potential’ – an offshoot of the Early Energy Centre – has seen hundreds of schoolchildren take part in creative workshops this week, inspired by the themes of Moana.

After watching the Moana show, 600 pupils from St Martin’s and Liskeard Hillfort Primary School have been participating in art, dance, and creative writing workshops, led by professionals Fiona Chivers, Joules Williams, and Kate Rogers and supported by young people from the Liskeard area over the past two days.

An exhibition to show the result of the work that has been done by the children has been curated by Joseph Bulmer and will be open to the public from this evening (Wednesday) at Liskeard Hillfort Primary School.

There’ll also be the chance to see the final performance of Disney’s Moana Jr from the Caradon Youth Theatre tonight – gates open at 5.30pm for the show at 7pm. To book visit www.earlyenergy.co.uk
