Zebediahs, a new arts cooperative shop and gallery in Church Street, Launceston, featuring work by artists from North and South East Cornwall, opened yesterday.

John Lawrence, who has illustrated more than 200 books including Watership Down, performed the opening.

Work on display includes screen prints, mosaics, pottery and jewellery.
