Two-minute silence will be held Tomorrow (Wednesday November 11) at 11am in the following locations:
Callington - War Memorial
Saltash - outside the Brunel pub
Tideford - at the Legion Club
Torpoint - in Sparrow Park
Youngsters at Torpoint Nursery and Infant School will also be holding a Remembrance Day Service tomorrow with local Afghanistan veteran Mark Stonelake, who is the face of this year’s national Poppy Appeal.
Mark, who has two children at the school, was injured by a roadside mine in 2008, and has had help in his rehabilitation from the RBL’s Battling Back programme. Joining him will be Captain Robert Bellfield of HMS Raleigh and representatives from the town council and the local RBL.
