The 2016 Cornwall Architectural Trust Lecture is to be delivered by Canadian-born architect Alison Brooks, joint winner of the 2008 RIBA Stirling Prize whose work has been described as ’a late flowering of the most elegant and sensitive modernism’.

The Cornwall Architectural Trust is a charity whose objectives are raising awareness and encouraging design excellence in the built environment. It awards student travelling scholarships and prizes as well as hosting its annual lecture.

This year’s Lecture, which is organised jointly with the Royal Institute of British Architects SW Region, is to take place at the National Maritime Museum, Falmouth, on November 11.
