The Cornwall branch of the British Red Cross is seeking volunteers to form teams in Liskeard and Saltash which can be called upon to help, and support others in times of difficulty.

Services that would be delivered would be supporting carers in their home; visiting the elderly who have had a fall; caring for the elderly when they suddenly have a difficulty coping; giving support to those faced with the sudden death or illness of a relative; therapeutic care; working with youth people; helping issue medical loan equipment and first aid at public events.
