A terminally-ill four-year-old girl has not slept in her specialist bed for almost a year because she has no way of getting upstairs to her bedroom.
Ellie Libby has a special bed that was bought with help from West Looe Town Trust, but has been unable to use it for 11 months since she became too heavy for her father to lift.
'She is too heavy to take up the stairs and, after falling with her once going up, I decided enough was enough,' said Nigel Libby.
Nigel and his wife Julie have been trying to get an adaption on their house since November 2007, which would include a lift so that Ellie could make the most of her room.
