Sponsored rowers set off tomorrow on a six-mile journey to raise money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance.

In the fourth River Lynher Challenge, all sorts of craft are paddled the six miles from Saltash to St Germans. 

Any rowed or paddled craft (canoe, kayak, paddle board, rowing boat) are welcome to take part as are all levels and ages. There are safety boats along the route. 

Registration will be from  1.45pm  at Jubilee Green, Saltash. 

The challengers set off at 3pm and finish at the Quay Sailing Club in St Germans, where there will be entertainment for all ages including live music, a barbecue, games, tea, coffee, cakes and a Pimms tent with all proceeds going to the Air Ambulance. The club bar will also be open.

The entertainment on the Quay will start at 3pm and all are welcome to support the rowers.
