WITH Honey Fair set to take place next Wednesday, there are many events running throughout the day. The town's Methodist church will be hosting a royal exhibition on the day. On display will be pictures of the recent visit of Prince Charles to the bowling club, memorabilia from the Queen's reign and items from royalty in the past. Coffees and light lunches will be available and there will also be a bric-a-brac stall. Callington Country Market will also be open all day between 9am and 4pm. Based at the Scout Headquarters at the top of New Road car park, there will be a range of goods on sale including home baking, eggs, cheese and fresh garden produce.
