Actor Laurence Fox will be swapping small-screen tales of crime for performing his own songs on stage this autumn as he comes to the Looe Music Festival. Best known as TV sleuth Detective Inspector James Hathaway in ITV’s Oxford-based detective series and Morse sequel Lewis, Laurence released his debut album Holding Patterns last month. The 37-year-old singer-songwriter will be playing in Looe on Sunday, September 25, joining a strong line-up that already includes Wilko Johnson and the Fun Lovin’ Criminals. The three-day festival will see more than 9,000 people enjoy live music from around 90 bands and singers.
