The Caradon Action Team report a high rate of success in their current action against drugs offences, supported by the tactical aid groups from Bodmin and Plymouth, plus the dog section.
On Thursday last, with three warrants and a Pace search issued they raided four premises at St Cleer, Dobwalls and Trerulefoot, arresting two males and two females for possession of controlled drugs. Quantities of cannabis and LSD were also seized.
On the Friday the Team were in action again with a warrant to search an address in Calstock where a male was arrested and some cannabis seized. A female was also arrested and cannabis found when a vehicle was searched.
D C Russ Hall, based at Liskeard, said the Team's aim is to minimise the supply and use of controlled drugs in the area. 'Anyone involved in this can eventually expect a visit from us' he said.
The Caradon Action Team has also been engaged on night duties out patrolling in the Caradon area in the prevention of burglaries and also carrying out vehicle road checks.
Anyone with information for the Team is asked to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
