The Catholic Church of Our Lady and St Neot in Liskeard is inviting people to remember their deceased friends and relatives on All Souls Day on Wednesday (November 2).

Parish priest Fr Gilmour McDermott says it is a long-standing Christian tradition to remember those who are near and dear on this date.

The Catholic Church, in West Street, will be open from 5pm on All Souls Day for people to call in and remember their loved ones who have died.

Visitors will be invited to write down names so prayers can be offered.

Tea and coffee will be available in St Neot Room by the church, and Mass will be offered for all those who have been remembered at 7pm.
