South East Cornwall motorists will be affected when a resurfacing scheme gets under way on Monday, October 16, on a section of the A38 Plymouth Parkway.

The six-week maintenance scheme will involve resurfacing a 2.5-mile section of the A38 between the Marsh Mills and Manadon junctions, and to minimise disruption, much of the work will be carried out under a series of overnight closures, Mondays to Fridays only, between 8pm and 6am.

The phased work will start on the eastbound carriageway with full overnight closures from Manadon to the Forder Valley interchange until October 27 and Forder Valley to Marsh Mills between October 30 and November 2, followed by the westbound carriageway between Deep Lane and Forder Valley (November 6-10) and Marsh Mills and Forder Valley to Manadon (November 13-28).

Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.
