As a result of appalling weather last weekend, work on changes to the contraflow on the A30 between Temple and Higher Carblake has been postponed to this weekend.

This means the A30 will be closed overnight (between 8pm and 6am) from 8pm on Saturday, November 26 to 6am on Monday, November 28.

Last weekend’s overnight weather conditions meant it was not safe for the workforce to carry out their work or for the crane to operate.

The delay in changing the contraflow means the re-opening of the Four Winds (Blisland Road) junction will now not take place until Monday. The Helland junction (which was due to close on November 21 as a result of the change in the contraflow) will now close this Monday.
