A series of overnight road closures will be in place on the A30 across Bodmin Moor from Saturday, July 8 as contractors Kier make the final push towards completing construction on the long-awaited dual carriageway.
The overnight closures will be in place between 7pm and 6am throughout the week from 7pm on July 8 to 6am on Friday, July 14. When the overnight closures are lifted on Friday, the road will re-open as a dual carriageway.
These closures will enable any remedial roadworks to be completed and the phased removal of the entire traffic management scheme.
This will include all temporary signage, traffic cones, barriers and finally the CCTV and average speed cameras.
The standard solid black vertical ‘diamond’ diversion route will be put into operation for all A30 through traffic. To avoid confusion only follow the solid ‘black diamond’ symbol for the A30 diversion.
