A dig at Liskeard
In thousands and thousands of years time, just what will the archaeologists think when they discover the decaying ruins of Liskeard?
What will they make of the Parade's somewhat puzzling scheme? Firstly there'll be the high percentage of chinese granite which, in a county of granite, should set quite a poser?
Then there'll be the grade II listed stonework of Webbs, crumbling away right next to Alldays up-to-date, shell-like building. Finally, let's hope, in these years ahead, that the records etc of our council meetings and decisions do not remain intact; they would never believe some of them.
