Police want to trace the driver of a Citroen people carrier after a serious accident on the A30 in West Cornwall last week.
Emergency services were called to the incident near Redruth, on Friday (October 7) just after 3.30pm and closed both directions of the A30.
An air ambulance took a man, who was suffering from serious head injuries, to Treliske hospital. He was later transferred to Derriford Hospital.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident. They are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a dark-coloured Citroen Grand Picasso people carrier that was travelling on the A30 Eastbound from Camborne towards Redruth.
This vehicle came to an almost complete stop behind a marked roads policing vehicle that was stationary in lane two. Police believe this person can help them with the active investigation of the incident.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact police via email on [email protected] or by telephone on 101, quoting log 0421 of October 7.
