The A390 in West Taphouse was the scene of a serious accident today (Sunday).

The incident was around 3.45pm on the A390 involving a head on crash between two cars between North Hill (West Taphouse) to B3359 (Mid Taphouse). A man in his 40s was airlifted to hospital. There were two other casualties in the incident who were walking wounded. The road remained closed at 7.30pm affecting traffic between Dobwalls and Lostwithiel.
