Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service have six appliances and three whole time officers at the scene of the fire at the Connon Bridge recycling centre near East Taphouse.

They are being supported by an incident command unit, an operational support unit, two water carriers and an aerial ladder platform.

Crews are using four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and thermal image cameras.

Public access to the site is closed until further notice.
