A driver was trapped inside his overturned car in the early hours of yesterday (June 12).

Rescuers from Mevagissey and St Austell fire stations found the vehicle on the B3273 at Pentewan shortly after 4am.

Crash rescue equipment was used to release the driver who was treated by paramedics. The police were also at the scene.
