Police are hunting the man who deliberately tripped a woman at Penzance Station.

The 51-year-old woman fell face first and suffered bruising.

Detectives have issued a closed circuit TV image of a man they would like to speak to about the incident, which happened outside the station ticket office at around 8am on March 15.

PC Wayne Frost said: ’After studying CCTV of the incident, I believe this was a deliberate act.

’It left the victim shaken and bruised, and fortunate to escape more serious injuries.

’We have shared images from the station on police intelligence networks, and today I am asking for the public’s help.

’I think the man in the picture has information about what happened. Who is he?”
