South East Cornwall firefighters helped battle a gorse blaze stretching over one-and-a-half square kilometres.

Teams from Liskeard and Lostwithiel helped fight the flames with beaters and hosereels at Dozmary Pool, near Bolventor, on Friday evening.

The cause was believed to be accidental.
