STAFF and pupils at Braddock Primary School have been evacuated because of fumes from the ongoing fire at the Connon Bridge waste and recycling centre.

Residents in the area were told earlier this morning to keep doors and windows closed.

Fire crews combatting the fire have now been joined by a high velocity pump.
