Police have arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply from a house in Grenville Avenue, Saltash.
They had attended the house with British Gas officials who had a warrant to enter when they smelt what they believed to be drugs.
Sgt James Drake said: ’There is a lot of community concern in the area about anti-social and criminal behaviour and drug-related activity. We are working to combat this. If anyone has information which can help us please can they either ring 101 or email [email protected].’
The man is currently in custody while investigations continue.
