Rescuers freed a motorist trapped in a crashed car at West Taphouse yesterday evening.

Firefighters from Liskeard and the rescue tender from Bodmin went to the scene of the single-vehicle incident shortly after 5pm.

Firefighters used crash rescue equipment to release the occupant who was cared for by paramedics.
