Firefighters from Torpoint and Saltash used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to quickly bring a fire in the kitchen of a property in Torpoint under control.

Fire control said their quick action prevented the escalation of the fire and confined it to the oven. 

The crews used positive pressure ventilation (PPV) to clear the property of smoke.
