Drones are to be trialled by police in Cornwall and Devon for six months.

Two drones, one of which is based in Exeter and the other in Plymouth, have high-definition cameras which can capture video and still images. It is hoped they will help officers in searching for missing people and taking crime scene photography and will complement the role of the police helicopter.
