Police are appealing for witnesses following dangerous driving and assault that happened near the Trerulefoot Roundabout.

Officers say that at around 2pm on Sunday, August 7, two motorcycles were believed to have been driving dangerously on the approach to the roundabout, heading west.

This then led to an altercation between a car driver and one of the motorcyclists at Route 38 Bar and Grill at Trerulefoot, where a man in his 60s was assaulted and suffered bruising and cuts to his face.

Police are appealing for witnesses, and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area and who witnessed either the dangerous driving or assault take place.
