Police are appealing for witnesses to a head-on collision on the A388 at Callington on Friday (September 1) which left four people injured.
Emergency services were called at 5.05pm after the collision between a black Renault Clio and a green Volkswagen Lupo between Callington and Kelly Bray.
All three people from the Renault Clio were taken to Derriford Hospital.
One of the passengers, a 27-year-old woman, sustained serious leg injuries and was airlifted to hospital by the air ambulance. The male driver and another woman, both from Callington, are not believed to have sustained serious injuries.
The driver of the Lupo, a 34-year-old woman from Beaworthy, sustained a chest injury and was also taken to Derriford Hospital.
Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team along with a forensic collision investigator and scenes of crime attended the incident and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision and would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen either vehicle travelling on Launceston Road prior to the incident.
