Police are appealing for witnesses following a single-vehicle collision near Tavistock yesterday (November 13) which left a man with a serious head injury.

Officers were called at 8.15pm after the blue Audi was in collision with a telegraph pole on the B3362 near Dunterton, Milton Abbot.

The driver and only occupant, a 35-year-old man from Launceston, was ejected from the vehicle. He was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with a serious head injury.

The road was closed for seven hours for the officers to examine the scene and for the vehicle to be recovered.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the vehicle travelling on the road beforehand to contact them via [email protected] or by phone on 101, quoting log number 691 of 13/11/17.
