TORPOINT firefighters took part in today’s (March 21) World Poetry Day on social media with some pertinent posts:

’Don’t leave your straighteners on

and plugged into the wall,

or they could start a fire

and you’ll have to give us a call.’

And

’If you notice a fire and can’t put it out,

call 999 and give us a shout’
