Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision on the A389 in Cornwall.

At around 11.30am yesterday (September 25), there was a collision between a Scania lorry and a Kia Venga on Truro Road, Lanivet, near Bodmin.

A 71-year-old woman from Port Isaac was driving the Kia; she remains in Derriford Hospital in a serious condition after sustaining life-threatening injuries.

Police from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for witnesses to this incident.
