A collision yesterday early evening in Liskeard town centre involved one vehicle and a pedestrian, say local police.
. A police spokesperson said that a man in his 70s was taken to hospital for treatment for a head injury, and that his injuries could be considered life changing.
"A collision investigation will be conducted in due course, no offences have been identified at this time," said Sergeant Ian Chambers.The accident in Dean Street happened at around 5.40pm and the road was closed for around three hours: police officers remained at the scene until the vehicle was recovered.An appeal for witnesses or dash-cam footage of the incident has gone out: anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting log number 682 of 22/12/20.
