ST DOMINICK’S Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators are calling for new volunteers to keep an eye on the village. ‘We firmly believe that vigilance and being good neighbours is vital to the health of any village, town or city,’ said a spokesperson. ‘But, sadly, we are very short of volunteers to replace the good folk who have served for many years, and who are now having to step down due to age, health or disability.’ Residents and potential new volunteers are encouraged to attend a meeting on Wednesday, April 13, at the Methodist Chapel.
