Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Penzance that has left a motorcyclist in hospital.

The crash happened at around 5.50pm yesterday (June 13) between a white Toyota Auris and an orange Pulse XF125 motorcycle at the junction of Alexandra Place and Alexandra Road, Penzance.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 19-year-old local man, was taken by air ambulance to Treliske with serious head injuries. The car driver was uninjured.
