POLICE are appealing for witnesses, or any private CCTV footage, after a man is believed to have been assaulted in West Looe on Friday night.

Two calls were made to police between approximately midnight and 1am that related to men fighting in the Princess Street/Quay area.

A man was subsequently found outside of Looe on the Polperro Road, near to Tencreek Holiday Park, with head injuries.

He is currently in a ’stable condition’ in Derriford Hospital.
