A man has died following a collision on the A390 between Gunnislake and Tavistock today. The incident was reported earlier on our website.

Emergency services were called at 7am after a car was in collision with a hedge and a Land Rover Defender.

The male driver of the car was treated by paramedics but was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.

The road was closed until 2.05pm for officers from the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit to carry out an examination of the scene.
