Looe Lifeboats were involved in multiple shouts over last weekend and more recently.
The first one was on Saturday morning (May 28) at 8am.
Both lifeboats, the Atlantic Class Alan & Margaret and D Class Ollie Naismith launched to assist with a search for two youngsters in a 17-foot open boat lost in the fog at sea.
They had left Plymouth on Friday evening to go fishing near the Eddystone Lighthouse but the fog came in during the night and they were unsure where they were.
The youths only had a mobile phone on them and no radio. They phoned the Coastguard and Plymouth, Salcombe, Fowey and both Looe lifeboats were tasked to search for them. Later the coastguard helicopter also assisted in the search.
They were eventually found a few miles from the Eddystone after drifting around for several hours, both unhurt. Both Looe lifeboats returned to station just before mid-day after being out for almost four hours.
There was a further shout on Tuesday (May 31) at 2.25pm. The D Class was launched to three local girls cut off by the tide and stuck on a rock off Plaidy beach, East Looe.
All the girls were picked up by the lifeboat and taken ashore at Plaidy where they were met by the Looe coastguard and given safety advice.
