Lifeboat crew freed a fouled propellor after a group of six people on an evening boat trip got stuck.
On Thursday evening, Looe RNLI’s volunteers were paged to help an open boat with a fouled propeller on the West Looe river by the Millpool.
Launching at 7.20pm and arriving on scene shortly afterwards, the crew found a boat drifting in the middle of the river between the Millpool and Trenant Point.
A rope had become entangled between the boat’s propeller and rudder.
Crew members were able to disentangle the rope, allowing the group on the boat to continue their evening boat trip.
