Crews from South East Cornwall have been helping fight a fire at a home in Launceston.

Local teams found smoke pouring from the building when they arrived on the scene in Race Hill and called for reinforcements.

Crews were mobilised from Callington, Liskeard and Holsworthy.

A kitchen fire was discovered inside the property and firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one safety jet and a thermal imaging camera to put it out.

Police and ambulance were also at the scene.
