The fire at the Orchard vehicle scrapyard near Dobwalls is still well alight, say firefighters.

More than 40 are tackling the blaze and commanders say they expect to be at the scene until the early hours.

People are still being warned to stay inside and keep their windows closed because of the dense plumes of smoke, visible from miles around.

Drivers in the area are also advised to keep their windows shut.

The road past the yard is closed.
