Fire crews have spent much of the day damping down and checking for hot spots at the site of a major scrapyard blaze.
Local people were advised to stay inside with their windows close after the fire broke out yesterday afternoon. The road past the site, from Doublebois to Minions, was closed for most of today.
The owner of WH Orchard and Sons, near Liskeard, said he believed the fire may have started when a gas canister in a car was crushed.
Crews from across the county spent more than 24 hours tackling the blaze and plumes of dense smoke could be seen from all over the area.
Crews from Liskeard posted some dramatic pictures of the scene on social media.
