Firefighters from Saltash with help from colleagues from Plymouth dealt with a fire in a bio-mass boiler at Hatt on Friday night.

The fire was in a boiler housed within a metal container measuring approximately 4m by 3m.

The crew used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a CO2 extinguisher to put the fire out.

There were no suspicious circumstances.
