FIREFIGHTERS called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash this morning (September 2) feared a motorist was trapped in the wreckage.

Crews on two appliances from Liskeard and Callington went to the scene on the B3254 between Liskeard and St Cleer amid reports that one casualty was trapped after a collision between a car and a van.

One person remained in one vehicle, however they were not physically trapped and got out with the help of paramedics.
