Firefighters dealt with an electrical fire in a smoke-logged shop in Saltash this morning.

Teams from Saltash and Camels Head went to the single-storey general store in Church Road. 

Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher and a thermal imaging camera. 

The fire involved an electrical intake. 

Once crews had dealt with the fire a positive pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property.
