Crew from two stations called to tractor fire

CREW from Saltash Fire Station were mobilised to put out a tractor on fire near Tideford yesterday evening.

Firefighers wearing breathing apparatus used two hosereel jets to extinguish the blaze, and a small trench was dug out to prevent the fuel from running down the road, said a spokesperson for Saltash Fire Station.

Liskeard’s fire crew provided back up in the form of an extra tank of water that was needed.
