A collision caused chaos in the centre of St Austell late on Sunday (May 29).

Eighteen firefighters on appliances from St Austell, St Dennis and a Rescue Tender from Bodmin attended a call to a two-vehicle coillision.

The crash had also brought down electric cables in the area.

One of the vehicles had been involved in a severe high speed roll-over and paramedics were on hand to assess injuries.
