POLICE in Liskeard have released this CCTV image of a man suspected of two house burglaries in the early hours of Saturday, October 10.

Cash, documents and bank cards were stolen from the homes of two elderly people in Victoria Close and Bodgara Way.

Following the burglaries, the suspect used a stolen bank card to withdraw £300 from a cash machine, said police.

‘The two incidents occurred sometime between 2.30am and 4.45am,’ said a Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson.

‘On both occasions the properties, occupied by elderly residents living alone, were entered via insecurities, and following a search, cash, documents and bank cards were stolen.’

The suspect is a white man thought to be in his early twenties.

He is described as being of medium build with facial stubble. He was wearing black trousers, trainers, a black cap, and a red, hooded anorak with a white stripe down the arm and a white logo on the hood.
